SuperTrend MTF [Anan]Hello friends, As per many experts, supertrend indicator is best to use in combination with other indicators like MACD and RSI. The best thing about supertrend it sends out accurate signals on precise time. The indicator offers quickest technical analysis to enable the intraday traders to make faster decisions. It is extremely simple to use and understand. However, the indicator is not appropriate for all the situations. It works when the market is trending. Hence it is best to use for short-term technical analysis. Supertrend uses only the two parameters of ATR and multiplier which are not sufficient under certain conditions to predict the accurate direction of the market. Understanding and identifying Bull and Bear signals in supertrend is the main crux for the intraday traders. Both the downtrends as well uptrends are represented by the indicator. The flipping of the indicator over the closing price indicates signal. A Bull signal is indicated in green color whereas Bear signal is given as the indicator turns red. Options: - Change calculation source ( default SuperTrend uses: hl2) - Change calculation method (default SuperTrend uses: RMA) - Additional six multi-time frames SuperTrends

Supertrend MTF LAG ISSUEThis script based on we all use Super trend but it main issue is the lag as it buy too late or sell too late using Deavaet study of Heat map MTF we can do a little trick if you look on his study you can see that major signal for example will happen in the time frame before it happen at larger time frame so in this example if signal at MTF 30 min and signal at MTF 60 min happen at the same time at 2 hours or 4 hours candles then this signal are more likely to be true then random signal at each time frame specific. since we use shorter time frame on larger time frame we can remove the lag issue that make supertrend not so effective In this example I set the signal to be MTF 30 +60 om 2 hour TF , can be good also for 4 hour candles.. So you get the signal to close inside the larger candle now if you want to make on even shorter TF then change the code to 15 and 30 MTF on candles on 1 hour or 1 and 5 min on 30 min or 15 min

Supertrend (MTF) & Parabolic SAROne of my mixed approach strategy indicators which includes: - Parabolic SAR - 1 Hour Supertrend - 4 Hour Supertrend Whilst this script may appear slow due to the 4hr Supertrend, it does a great job of managing breakouts. Using this indicator is simple, if the line labeled Lifetime is green then buy, if red then sell OR don't trade. So... Green Line - This strategy is in a buy position Red Line - This strategy is in a sell position Any other Color - DON'T TRADE The traders approach is simple, when all indicators are green or red, then take the trade. As soon as one indicator changes, then re-evaluate using your normal process, such as price action, to determine whether to close the trade or continue. Heatmap MACD StrategyHello traders A customer gave me the idea indirectly after I made an update to that script: Supertrend MTF Heatmap Important Notes The backtest results aren't relevant for this educational script publication. I used realistic backtesting data but didn't look too much into optimizing the results, as this isn't the point of why I'm publishing this script. I wanted to showcase that any Heatmap script can be converted into a strategy. 
The strategy default settings are: Initial Capital: 100000 USD
 Position Size: 1 contract Commission Percent: 0.075% Slippage: 1 tick No margin/leverage used For example, those are realistic settings for trading CFD indices with low timeframes, but not the best possible settings for all assets/timeframes. Concept The Heatmap MACD Strategy allows selecting one MACD in five different timeframes. You'll get an exit signal whenever one of the 5 MACDs changes direction.
Then, the strategy re-enters whenever all the MACDs are in the same direction again. It takes: long trades when all the 5 MACD histograms are bullish short trades when all the 5 MACD histograms are bearish You can select the same timeframe multiple times if you don't need five timeframes. For example, if you only need the 30min, the 1H, and 2H, you can set your timeframes as follow: 30m 30m 30m 1H 2H Risk Management Features Nothing too fancy All the features below are pips-based Stop-Loss Trailing Stop-Loss Stop-Loss to Breakeven after a certain amount of pips has been reached Take Profit 1st level and closing X% of the trade Take Profit 2nd level and close the remaining of the trade What's next? Supertrend Multi Time Frame - Auto HTF calculationThere is already SuperTrend indicator and thanks to its developer. This script draws supertrend for current and higher time frame, it automatically calculates higher time frame and you don't need to adjust it when you change the period. it also change the color of bars according to current and HTF supertrend, so you can see the trend by looking at bars color. Bar color is lime if trend is up and red if trend is down. but if you see white bars then there is movement opposite the main trend. if you like it please comment.
